B.Sc. Physiotherapy; B.Sc. Biokinetics (Hons)

Hailing from South Africa, Esther relocated to New Zealand in 2022. She initially completed a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Biokinetics before studying and graduating in 2006 with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Pretoria. In South Africa, Esther gained a variety of experience in multiple areas as a physiotherapist and physiotherapy practice owner. She has experience and a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation by using a combination of manual therapy, exercise and education to optimise function and recovery. A client-centred approach is followed to provide a supportive environment to address individual client’s needs. She has completed her certificates of orthopaedic manual therapy and sport, qualified in dry needling and is a practitioner in the Lyno method.

I am enjoying any outdoors activities, travelling and exploring with my husband, building Lego!
